Scope and Acceptable Use

This Remato Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) applies to Clients’ and Users’ (“You” or “Your”) use of Services and Platform offered by Remato. Capitalized terms used herein but not defined in this Policy have the meaning set forth in the Remato’s Terms of Service. This Policy aims to prevent the misuse or abuse of Remato’s Service and Platform. You may only use the Service and Platform in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

Policy Breaches

The list of prohibited activities below that Remato considers misuse or abuse of the Service and Platform is not comprehensive. You may not use the Service and Platform in violation of the express prohibitions below, Remato’s Terms of Service or in violation of the spirit of this Policy. Remato, in its sole discretion, shall have the right to immediately terminate or suspend the access to, or use of the Service and Platform without notice or liability to You if You, or any person employed by or affiliated with You, takes any action in violation of this Policy or the spirit of this Policy, or if Remato determines, in its sole discretion, that Your continued use of the Service or Platform may violate any law, rule, or regulation.

Prohibited Materials and Activities

In addition, and without limiting the other requirements in this Policy or the Terms of Service, You may not (directly or indirectly), and as solely determined by Remato, use the Service and Platform with content, or in a manner that:

  1. compromises the security or operation of the Service or Platform (including tampering with, reverse-engineering Platform, circumventing any security or authentication measures, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, related systems, networks, or data),
  2. access or search any part of the Platform by any means other than our publicly supported interfaces (for example, “scraping”)
  3. commits a crime, breaches any applicable law, or entices or invites others to carry out such illegal actions;
  4. is deceptive, false, fraudulent, inaccurate, or misleading;
  5. displays material that exploits children under 18 years of age, pornography or illicitly pornographic sexual products; illegal goods; illegal drugs; firearms, bombs, grenades, or other weapons;
  6. infringes a third party's intellectual property right(s), including without limitation distributing any software, music, videos, images, or other material protected by intellectual property laws (or by rights of privacy or publicity) unless You have all necessary rights and consents to do so;
  7. provides material that is grossly offensive, vulgar, obscene, indecent or unlawful material, including without limitation blatant expressions of bigotry, prejudice, racism, hatred, or excessive profanity or post any obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing, or otherwise objectionable content;
  8. posts or discloses any personally identifying information or private information about any person (including children) without their consent (or their legal guardian’s consent in the case of a minor);
  9. uploads files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs, including without limitation viruses, malware, worms, harmful code, and/or Trojan horses, that may damage the operation of the Service, Platform, or another person's device;
  10. engages in any libelous, defamatory, scandalous, threatening, harassing activity; or
  11. posts any content that advocates, promotes or otherwise encourages violence against any governments, organizations, groups or individuals or which provides instruction, information, or assistance in causing or carrying out such violence, including without limitation promoting, facilitating or instructing others to engage in illegal activity.

Policy Updates

Remato may make changes to this Policy by pushing a notification of the revised version of the Policy to the Platform, and such updates will be effective upon You accepting the updated Policy.
